Burns Night is a night no whisky or Scottish literature fan should miss! Celebrated to mark the birth of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns, it is a night filled with good food, performances – and of course, great whisky.
Naturally, the bard is an especially important character to Arran Whisky, as they are the creators of the official Robert Burns Whisky – the only whisky to be endorsed by the Robert Burns World Federation. No Burns Supper is complete without a good dram – and nothing suits the occasion better than this beautiful single malt.
ROBERT BURNS SINGLE MALT WHISKY
An homage to the Scottish bard, this is a pleasingly versatile single malt made with a blend of Scottish-grown malted barley and fresh water from nearby Loch na Davie, reputedly the source of the purest water in Scotland.
This edition of the Arran Single Malt is skilfully crafted using a blend of different aged expressions to create a beautifully well-rounded sweet-fruity dram that befits Burns’ name.
An easily drinkable single malt, which can be enjoyed on its own, on the rocks, or in a variety of classic whisky cocktails such as a Rob Roy or an Old Fashioned.
Tasting Note
Aroma Sweet & creamy with notes of honey, toffee-glazed pecans and fresh summer fruits. Palate A perfect combination of rich malt and lush vanilla notes forms a beautifully refreshing and smooth palate. Light and sweet at first followed by tantalising spice and oak.
