THE ARRAN MALT
14 YEAR OLD
SINGLE MALT WHISKY
Aged in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-Bourbon barrels, this single malt has all the fresh character of the classic Arran with an added layer of intensity and fruitiness.
Smooth and rich from its maturation time, non-chill filtered and bottled at natural colour, this single malt delivers a fresh sweetness, caramelised nuttiness and spice.
This single malt is made with a blend of Scottish-grown malted barley, and fresh water from nearby Loch na Davie, reputedly the source of the purest water in Scotland.
Once the malts have been fermented with yeast, the ‘wash’ is then double distilled in copper pot stills, before being laid down to mature in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, where the oak wood imparts its natural colour and character.
Arran bottle this single malt at 46% abv, and to preserve the whisky’s clarity in all serves, choose not to chill-filter their spirits.
Scottish-grown malted barley, yeast, Loch na Davie water, matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-sherry hogshead barrels.
Sunset copper in colour, with a rich complexity balancing fruit and spice, this rewarding dram is best enjoyed as it comes.
