Offering an intensity of flavour never experienced before in cognac, Aqua Ignis is the product of a powerful alliance of water and fire, brought together to create a unique barrel-making process.
This distinctive and unique cognac benefits from a barrel-making process never seen before. During a triple steaming and brasero toasting process, the water prevents the oak wood fibres from burning during the long heat. This results in appealing roasted notes, like mocha and vanilla, without any unwanted tannic or smoke notes.
As with all Larsen Cognacs, after vinification double distillation takes place without the lees, to maintain the spirit’s fruity aromas.
