This is the spirit that defined Swedish aquavit, with its trio of spices and time spent in oak. Equally at home in cocktails or paired with food, O.P Anderson is a staple of Swedish gatherings and festive occasions.

PRODUCTION

Over 100 years of shared knowledge and tradition go into the production of O.P. Anderson Original, first created for the 1891 Gothenburg Exhibition.

Nowadays, distillery manager Stefan MÃ¥rtensson remains true to this heritage at a brand new facility in Sundsvall, Sweden. State-of-the-art equipment contrasts with classic copper stills and ancient barrels, resulting in this iconic aquavit.

Only natural, certified-organic ingredients are used to create O.P. Anderson original. Carraway, aniseed and fennel are all distilled separately with neutral 96% ABV spirit and water. These are then matured for a minimum of six months in oak barrels before being blended.
