Peat’s Beast Batch Strength

PEAT’S BEAST BATCH STRENGTH

Just when you thought Peat’s Beast couldn’t be more powerful… this is the cask strength version of this rich and monstrously peaty single malt. Like the original, this is packed full of flavour, and with no chill filtration, additives or colouring.

PRODUCTION

Take the original Peat’s Beast, already a monster, with some of the highest peat levels to be found in whisky, and imagine it at a full 52.1% ABV.

Peat flavours the spirit not only when it’s used to fuel the fires that dry the malted barley, but also through the water source local to the distillery, which is thought to contribute around 15% of the final flavour of the whisky. The result is robust, rich and smoky, yet with a silky, smooth finish.

Peat’s Beast combines whiskies of various ages and styles, but all originating from the same Speyside Distillery, hence its classification as a single malt.
