Tequila Arette Añejo

TEQUILA ARETTE AÑEJO

Arette is produced at one of Mexico’s oldest distilleries, through a process that has been handed down through several generations of the Orendain family.

Handcrafted with 100% Blue Weber agave, it is distilled and bottled at the famed El Lano distillery in Tequila, Jalisco.

A resting time of between 14 and 18 months in American white oak barrels makes this an exceptionally smooth and full-bodied añejo tequila.

PRODUCTION

Arette Tequila is crafted from fully mature Blue Weber agave grown in the fields which surround the historic El Llano distillery.

After harvesting, the piñas are cooked in a modern pressure-cooker style autoclave cooker, before being crushed in a mechanical mill.

A combination of cultivated and wild yeast strains are used in the distillery’s open-air fermentation tanks.

The agave juices are then then twice-distilled in small batches in steel pot stills, before the tequila is transferred to rest in American white oak ex-Bourbon and ex-whiskey casks for a period of between 14 and18 months.

KEY INGREDIENTS

100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, volcanic spring water, American white oak casks.
