Crystal clear with silvery reflections, this is an immaculately clean-tasting and crisp triple-distilled Solera-aged white rum.
Made to the same family recipe and process for 140 years, Ron Matusalem Platino is a triple-distilled and double-filtered molasses-based rum, which is patiently and methodically matured and blended in the house’s proprietary Solera-style cask aging system.
A combination of American and French white oak barrels is used, some of which are ex-Bourbon casks. Meticulous in their craft, barrels can be toasted or charred to different levels to achieve different flavours and aromas.
The master blender oversees the careful blending of the rums to create the perfect balance, and the rum is then aged for three years. Finally, after the aging process, this platino rum is then double-filtered over charcoal to remove its colour, leaving it crystal clear.

With its delicately balanced flavour, this crisp white rum is perfect in classic Mojitos, Daiquiris et al, or enjoy it neat on the rocks.
