PEAT’S BEAST
A rich and monstrously peaty single malt, Peat’s Beast is unlike any peated whisky you know. Full of flavour, and with no chill filtration, additives or colouring.
The original Peat’s Beast, this is indeed a monster, with some of the highest peat levels to be found in whisky. Peat flavours the spirit not only when it’s used to fuel the fires that dry the malted barley, but also through the water source local to the distillery, which is thought to contribute around 15% of the final flavour of the whisky. The result is robust, rich and smoky, yet with a silky, smooth finish.
Peat’s Beast combines whiskies of various ages and styles, but all originating from the same Speyside Distillery, hence its classification as a single malt.
Peated malted barley.
This beast of a single malt can’t be contained, and is best appreciated neat, in all its glory.
