BALTAZAR DOUR
A cocktail to awaken the palate, with the mezcal’s smoky notes balanced by aromatics, citrus and rounded out with a splash of smooth Scotch.
Ingredients
40ml Mezcal Unión
10ml Arran 10yo Single Malt Whisky
20ml fresh lemon juice
20ml Beso agave syrup
1 egg white or 1/3 of a dropper (approx 3ml) of Ms. Better’s Miraculous Foamer Bitters (for an egg-free alternative)
dash of Angostura bitters
celery and a sprig of rosemary to garnish
Method
In a shaker, add all the ingredients with ice and shake for at least 10 seconds.
Double-strain into an Old Fashioned glass over cubed ice.
Garnish with celery and a sprig of rosemary.
