Jens Reidar Larsen was just 24 when he set sail from his home in Norway in search of adventure. He found it in Bordeaux, where he discovered a passion for cognac. Determined to create a unique style of this spirit, with fruit, purity and elegance at its core, this led to him founding his own cognac house in 1926.

Nearly a century later, Larsen Cognac still upholds these values, creating innovative cognacs unlike any others.

When young Norwegian Jens Reidar Larsen had a vision to create his own style of cognac, his main motivation was that fruit would be at their core, which continues to inspire every step of the production process to this day. This has led to various innovations created by the house, including some approaches to cask-making that have never been seen before, and which preserve the original aromas of the fruit.
