Tequila Arette Reposado

TEQUILA ARETTE REPOSADO

From the illustrious El Lano distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, comes this smooth reposado, handcrafted from 100% Blue Weber agave tequila which rests in American white oak barrels for six months.

Arette is produced at one of the oldest distilleries in the old town of Tequila, Jalisco, through a process that has been handed down through several generations of the Orendain family.

In recognition of its quality, Arette Reposado was the original tequila used in the Tommy’s Margarita, a modern classic created by Julio Bermejo in 1990 at Tommy’s Bar, San Francisco.

PRODUCTION

Arette Tequila is crafted from fully mature Blue Weber agave grown in fields on the outskirts surrounding the historic El Llano distillery.

After harvesting, the piñas are cooked in a modern pressure-cooker style autoclave cooker, before being crushed in a mechanical mill.

A combination of cultivated and wild yeast strains are used in the distillery’s open-air fermentation tanks.

The agave juices are then then twice-distilled in small batches in steel pot stills, before the tequila is transferred to rest in American white oak ex-Bourbon and whiskey casks for six months.

KEY INGREDIENTS

100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, volcanic spring water, American white oak casks.
